Eto cast a proud look toward his daughter nodding his agreement with Nuko. "A reunion, wonderful." It was more than obvious that the Assamite wasn't at all interested in the idea of being around everyone, especially after burning so much power. But the O'Connor's had taken care of his son for the duration of his lifetime.
"Take care of her for me Nuko." He shot Gabrielle a soft sort of apologetic smile. "I need to go home, I have to test before the reunion." With that the old mercenary vanished, heading back into the comforts of their home in hell, to his lover and companion and the comforts of home.

Gabrielle stared after him, eyes wide as he offered his farewell and disappeared. He seemed like her father, again. He seemed like the man that had raised her, loved her, trained her. She had no idea what to think of the beast that had come so close to taking her life, right then and there. She didn't know if she would ever be able to forget the way he had looked at her as if she were the prey they hunted together, so regularly.
Turning her eyes up to the Elder Gangrel that had run with Eto, her uncertainty and curiosity showed in her gaze. She silently pleaded with her for some sort of understanding, some kind of answer to all of the questions that had remained silent in the presence of her father. She swallowed back the fear, trying to steady herself, and eventually managed to gather her feet under herself, rising.
She did not replace her scimitar on her hip. It was weight in her hand and made her feel comfortable and confident, at least more so. She gave her wrist a spin and the sound of the blade whipping through the air made the knots in her shoulders begin to unravel, slowly but surely. She didn't say a word as she waited to see what Inuko might do.

The Gangrel waved as Eto disappeared, then turned her attention back to his daughter, who looked as if her entire world had changed in that single incident. "First time?" she asked softly, trying to seem as kind as she could manage. Inuko Locke wasn't exactly known for her kindness or comfort, but she would try for the little girl's sake. And that was exactly what Gabrielle was to her... a girl. And she probably always would be.
Without waiting for her to respond, she motioned for her to follow, then began to lead the way back out of the Memorial, towards the City. She had promised to take care of her, but she would probably want to change her clothes and maybe shower before she had to go face her siblings and their families. "Come on, then. Maybe I can help a little. Let's go."
