Angel continued to study the girl curiously. Interesting... So she is looking to reclaim her soul. Could that be the path he was looking for? After a moment of deliberation he decided that wasn't his path. He had to look after Belle and that was not a path she would be able to take with him. Therefore he would continue to find his own way for himself and his cousin. His only family.
Angel would be just as lost in his thoughts as Rumor for a moment before snapping out of it.
"So, you said you needed two items to help, know what it that you're looking for?"
Angel asked curiously.
"I am also on a quest looking for fragments maybe we could work together and help each other out?"

"Neither are particularly common," Rumor murmured thoughtfully, but she didn't seem to be able to keep herself from talking. David was the only Kindred nearby and he already knew the details of her journey. "One is a specific fragment, kind of like a horcrux, that this really evil man left behind. There is a man named Sargon who tore his Beast into many different pieces and scattered them across the world. One is a necklace... That necklace is the next piece I need to get ahold of."
She chuckled dismissively, knowing exactly where that necklace was. "I don't know when I'll be able to do that, though. I've had to travel all over the world for so many of the different objects, but this one is in my own backyard and I still don't think I'll be able to get it."
The sadness she felt at this fact was obviously printed across her features. Even her shoulders started to sag ever so slightly. Rumor, normally so chipper and excitable, looked defeated. She was so close to achieving her goal, after so many years. She seemed to forget about the other piece altogether as she thought about the man who wore the fragment like a trophy around his neck, as if he knew that he was insulting everything Rumor had tried to accomplish and parading that insult around right in front of her.

Angels eye went wide.
"Wait... What do you know about Sargon?"
Angel asked. Could she know more information about the man he was apparently the descendent of? Would she have more answers for him?

His surprise confused her. She tilted her head to one side in a tumble of soft, almost fur-like hair, blinking a few times. She had spent a long time studying everything she possibly could about the Clans, all of them, in hopes of one day being able to help everybody come to some sort of understanding. The fact that he knew anything about the evil man that had brought forth the Clan of incest was more surprising.
"Cappadocius, the man who wrote the Book of Sargon, Sired a man named Augustus Giovanni. Both are Antidullivians of their Clans... Of course I know Sargon." Slowly, her curiosity gave way to a strange sort of kindness, her head still tilted to one side. "It makes sense that I know about him. I know a lot more than most people give me credit for, actually. A lot of the Clans come to me whenever they need weird or obscure information. I'm basically useless in combat... I'm a pacifist, you see. So, instead, I make sure to collect whatever information I can."
It was actually why she spoke so quickly and so often. She loved talking about what she had learned and felt like she needed to speak just as fast as she read, so that maybe she could share her vast wealth of knowledge with the people that could actually do something about it. If people paid attention, she did ramble quite a bit, but she seemed to know what she was talking about, and when they needed to know something that no one else in the City knew, they could go to Rumor.
"But how YOU know is interesting. I thought you were a neonate? I mean, I have been studying this stuff, and that's the only reason I know anything about Sargon at all... Most Kindred don't even know about the Cappadocian Clan anymore, much less their Antidullivian. So how DO you know?" There was no hostility, only an open sort of curiosity.

Angel hesitated but then relaxed letting out a sigh.
"Ok... I'll tell you but only if you promise that you won't change you're view of me? I need to know that you won't turn on me..."
He would say cautiously. Letting out a sigh he reached into his bag and pulled out the Journal of Sargon and showed it to Rumor.
"I am a descendant of Sargon, and heir to the Journal."

She gave a shake of her head. Her mother had been Scourge of multiple different cities, her dearest friends were murderers, and she had forgiven the men who brutalized her without a second thought. She had no concern that she would see him differently. He was just Angel, no matter what. She offered him what she hoped was a comforting smile, trying to assure him that his secrets were safe with her.
Then, when he spoke, she blinked a few times, staring at him. He had the coloring of the Cappadocians, but that seemed like such an ancient history lesson... They had died off long ago, according to the books Amy kept locked in her home. Sargon's descendants were just as scattered as the fragments of his Beast. However, if he knew about the journal and had inherited it... Well, there was no denying that.
Rather suddenly, she started to giggle, having to hide the noise behind her fingers. She ducked her head and tried to compose herself, but it took a few moments as the realization washed over her. "No, no!" she said, motioning to him in hopes that he wouldn't take her laughter personally. "Please! Please, it's okay. I'm not laughing AT you. I just... Do you know much about the Giovanni family?"
Her blue eyes were alight with something akin to mischievousness, or as close as Rumor ever got, anyways. She was grinning from ear to ear, but at least she had stopped laughing. She cleared her throat, lightly pressing her fingers into her chest.
"The Giovanni are the descendents of Sargon, which means that you have Giovanni blood in you, somewhere. Maybe one of your parents?" A brow cocked over one eye, trying hard not to let him in on what could possibly be one of his family's darkest secrets. After all, not many people liked to admit that they were incestuous necrophiliacs that summoned the dead in the most grotesque of ways, just for their own personal enjoyment.
"If you have the journal, that must mean that you're learning Necromancy, right? That must have your journey even more difficult. Being a Tremere is dangerous, especially in this City, but being a Tremere with such obvious Sabbat blood?" She chuckled again, giving a shake of her head. She raised a hand and held it out to him, offering to help him up the steep cliff that would take them up to the Sparring Arena. "Come on. The Gangrel Clan is up here. Mizuki and Felix wanted to meet you."

Angel shook his head.
"No I haven't heard of them before. I mean I saw the name when I was researching Sargon but that's all I know. Why?"
He would ask as he took her hand following her to the Gangrel's home in the trees.

She held his hand tight and gave a weak tug to try and help him up the grassy hill. The path to the arena was covered in shrubs and trees and obviously not often traveled by the joggers and Kine that frequented the hiking trails they had just left. Still, she didn't trip or fall, easily navigating the forest without making a noise. It came naturally to her after so long living as part of the trees.
"The Giovanni are considered one of the more despicable families," she explained softly. "They're unkind necromancers. Their power comes from a connection to their ancestors and other family members. And they take that power in whatever way they can... That actually includes the fact that they will upset the spirits of their ancestors until they are strong enough to drain."
Trying to spare him as she could, she didn't bother to tell him how, exactly, they disturbed the graves. She remembered how shocked and hurt she had been, and she had absolutely no relation to the Giovanni family.

Angel frowned. That was not something he expected to find out at all... Being related to a despicable clan, raised by a hated clan, and sired by a despised clan. He certainly had the shitiest luck. Then it dawned on him... A memory of asking his mother why she looked different than everyone else in the family. She had just smiled and said he would find out when he was older. Guess that wasn't a lie...
He went over the information in his head as he traveled through the brush, despite his training he still sounded deafening compared to Rumor.
"So. Basically I was born with the worst luck. In the world."

Rumor giggled again with a little wink, nodding. At least she was back to smiling. She seemed content to enjoy his company as she carefully led him through the shubbery, pointing out the places he needed to be careful while walking. She didn't waste any of her (still unnecessary) breath on saying anything about them but she didn't want him to trip and fall down the hill side. That would hurt, even for a Kindred.
"I honestly thought Mom had the worst luck, but yeah. You might have beat her." She chuckled again with a slight shake of her head, moving a branch aside. Her eyes instinctively went to look for David, even though she knew she wouldn't be able to find him without asking for him to come out of hiding, wherever that hiding was. "She was born human, raised by werewolves, and then Embraced against her will and without her knowledge. You've still... kind of got her beat, huh?"

Angel carefully navigated through the shrubbery heeding the silent warnings from Rumor. As they continued he shrugged at her words.
"Well I don't know about worse but I can say that neither of our backgrounds are particularly that great."
He would let out a silent chuckle.
"Guess we have more in common than we thought."
He would with a humorless smile. Deciding that he would like to be off this particular topic he decided to ask a new question.
"So how much farther? And who are these people, Mizuki and Felix, that you want to meet me? And what are they like?"

"Mizuki is the Primogen. He's a lot older than most of us and kind of like the wise old man of a Native American tribe. We all go to him whenever we need advice or help. Felix is his prodigy. He wants him to take the spot on the Amy's Court once something happens to him. He's really, really quiet, but he's a super nice guy, too. His girlfriend went missing, so he's kind of got a chip on his shoulder about that. But he's still really sweet."
Rumor seemed to get the hint that he wanted to change the subject and had no problem talking about her Clan, instead. She actually seemed to enjoy it, a little more of a bounce in her step. "David and Lizzie will probably be there too. David's REALLY quiet but the nicest guy around. Lizzie is Mom's old friend, and she's kind of rough around the edges, but I'm sure you'll like her. Just gotta get used to her!"
There were plenty of other Gangrel in Nagasaki, but if the Clan had gathered at the sparring arena, they'd probably all be too busy to talk with him, and she didn't want to overwhelm him.
"I'll probably take you straight over to Mizuki so you can meet him, first. He might look kind of scary but you shouldn't worry, okay? He's like the grandfather to all of us." She giggled and gave a tiny shake of her head. Maybe it was just her, but Mizuki had always seemed like Santa Clause.

Angel nodded. So there was going to be a few people here hmmm? He wasn't expecting that, guess he should've known better.
"Sounds like fun. How much farther?"
He would ask legitimately curious.

"Not too much farther, I promise. I'm taking you to the main training ground of the Gangrel Clan. It's where we usually gather, if there's enough of us." Rumor paused for a moment, turning her nose into the air and inhaling, trying to find the scent to make sure she was going the right way. "There are a few of us in the Clan. Well, quite a few, actually."
She motioned for him to follow her as she turned, beginning to walk through the branches. "The clearing is right up here. I guess a few people have already gathered. I can definitely smell Mizuki, which means that Felix will be there as well... I don't know about Lizzie, though. She's not a really familiar scent to me, anymore, and I don't have Mom's nose." She giggled, mostly to herself, then broke through.
The trees opened up to a large clearing at the top of the steep hill, covered in grass. The entire circle was surrounded by tall trees that completely blocked any unwelcome vision, assuring privacy to the animalistic Clan during their training. A few were gathered: a pair sparred with the bare hands, nails elongated into dangerous claws, a few sat around to watch, and across the field, an elderly looking man perched on a rock with a younger, tan man standing tall behind him.
The grandfather looking individual held a cane in one hand, his wrinkled skin clinging to a face a little too long to seem proportional. One leg was obviously crippled, gnarled beneath his pants leg. He was leaning against his staff, before turning his glowing, ruby eyes up, catching sight of little Rumor, perched so far away from him. Raising one hand, he motioned for her to join them.
"Mizuki-kun!" she squealed, and then broke into a run. The sparring pair separated just in time for her to move between them. She passed by, uninjured, and the pair attacked each other once more, seemingly oblivious to the interruption. She fell to her knees just in front of him, hands folded carefully in her lap, and turned brilliant blue eyes up to his face. "Oh, Mizuki-kun! I'm so glad that you could join us after all! I had hoped you'd be able to meet my new friend, Angel Mau!"

Angel walked through right after Rumor taking in everything. There wasn't a lot of people but definitely more thanks he would have thought to be there. Well guess he had better not fuck up this introduction, his stay in this city was hard enough, he didn't need to make it harder by making an entire clan hate him...
He would walk around the sparring circle careful to not interrupt, or get involved in, their sparring match. He would nod and wave at any of the others he passed by as he made his way to Rumor. Then he would move to stand behind Rumor. Waving awkwardly he would speak.
"Uhm, hello, my name is Angel of Clan Mau. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
He would say shyly. Before anyone else could speak a tall, stocky, frizzy haired, woman would come up from behind Angel slamming a hand roughly on Angels back forcing him to take a step forward.
"Well hiya there! Names Lizzie, my friends don't call me Liz for good reason, and if you ever want to find out why, don't. But any friend of Rumors is a friend of mine!"
She would say with a hearty laugh. Angel would compose himself again, smile and nod a bit confused but so far so good.
