He didn't attempt to push the physical touch, and addressed her by her title, not by her name. That was comforting, in its own way. It was an act of separation that she greatly appreciated, even if she didn't mention it. She brushed her fingers through her ginger hair, breathing in slowly through her nose.
"I'm... actually here to visit Amy. Amy O'Connor? She and I go way back..." Not that he could tell. Dressed in her more formal attire, she could almost fit in with the Ventrue Prince, but she definitely did not look like somebody Amy would associate with of her own accord. "I apparently missed the wedding, so I wanted to come... say hi."

"Ah."
Angel would say nodding. That made sense.
"She spends most of her time at the Manor I do believe. I would take you to her but I'm not exactly her biggest fan."
Angel chuckled and shook his head.
"Though with my birthright I'm not really anyone's biggest fan right now, still trying to find a way to prove myself."

"Seems like you got a little fucked in that, yeah," the Toreador murmured thoughtfully, her focus strangely captured by the way the actors on the stage moved. She loved the art that existed behind it all. "Amy's not exactly got the best history with your kind. I don't think anybody really does..."
Cady winced for a moment, thoughts turning back to Foxglove and her evil ways.

Angel let out a dry chuckle.
"Yeah me too. I would say we should create a clip but I think there would be too many members."

"A clip?"
Acadia didn't seem to understand what he was saying, her brow raising as she finally turned her sparkling green gaze back to him. Whatever he had said obviously captured her attention, even though she hadn't a clue what exactly he was trying to say.

"Sorry, I've been around for awhile, clip is another way of saying club."
Angel shrugged he was use to saying words others often hadn't ever heard of.

Her own shrug mimicked his, however briefly, as she took her attention away from him once more. She couldn't imagine wanting to be a part of a club like that. The negativity was so... strange.
"How long is a while?" Cady asked curiously, though the tension seemed to be unknotting itself from her shoulders once more.

Angel hesitated then thought about it.
"Well my cousin and I have been on the run for... Two... Maybe 3 years now, and we've been all over Europe and Asia. It's been fun, exciting, and terrifying all at the same time."

"Do you stop by the Louvre?" Cady asked, continuing to seem disinterested despite her line of questioning. She needed to figure out exactly who this man was and why she didn't hate him nearly as much as she had come to hate others of his gender.

Angel shook his head and smiled.
"No, I really wanted to go but my cousin gets bored easily and the last thing I needed was for her to go crazy and run around trying to play with or on the exhibits."
He chuckled at the memory.
"I've missed out on a lot of the finer more delicate things but I've also been around and seen a lot of the other things in life that people often miss."

"Delicacy..."
Cady chuckled, mostly to herself, and gave a shake of her head. Finally, she pushed herself off the door, turning to look Angel in the face with intense, slate grey eyes, contemplating what he said to her.
"What are you doing here?" she finally asked, voice as cold as her gaze. "What are you REALLY doing here? This is a dangerous place, even for people who aren't Tremere... The East has belonged to the Keui-Jin for as long as most people can remember. Most of the Kindred that come here come specifically HERE, and for a reason. So what's yours? Just to get away?"

Angel hung his head for a moment in thought. Before finally settling on an answer.
"Because we had heard rumors that the kendred here are strong and feared. We hoped that this would get out clan off our tails and we knew that with so many dangers we could offer our services to the Prince. My cousin and I have training and experience in fighting so we figured if we needed to we could sell our skills for the sake of a safe haven.

"The Kindred here are some of the strongest in the world. Findero Lauden, Amy and Octavian O'Connor, Inuko Locke, Rumor Black, Quinn Valor, Bernd of the Nosferatu, his pet Blue...."
Acadia was staring at him, then, her eyes unblinking as her mind gingerly probed his. She didn't bother alerting him to what she was doing, though his abnormally strong sense of danger would alert him to what could easily turn into a deadly situation. She wanted to know exactly what he was thinking, and if she deemed him a threat... She'd take him down herself.
"Not to mention their connections to Hell. The people that have gathered in Nagasaki fought and won a war against the Eastern monsters that almost destroyed the world, and they won. And they're about to do it again. Your skills mean nothing, here.... and if you think you can keep up with any of them... ANY of them... Then you're a fool. You and your cousin walked into a dangerous situation with your head held high..."
She paused for a moment before finally freeing him from her gaze, wrapping her arms around her waist. The motion looked simple enough, but beneath her coat, she could feel the faint outline of one of her favorite weapons. It brought her some sense of comfort to know it was right there, where she could grab it if she needed to.
"You're either really brave or really stupid. And I don't know which, yet."

Angel smiled and was about to speak when he felt a slight tickling in his head. His sixth sense was deliberating whether he was in danger or not. Angel considered what this meant and braced himself mentally and physically. He would look around not sure where the attack was coming from but deciding it was probably best not to alert his guest he turned back to her with a smile.
"Well I prefer to think that it's the former but I guess we shall see."
He chuckled.

She snickered audibly as his thoughts reached her. How convenient. He could tell she might be dangerous. Cady gave an idle shake of her head.
"Yeah."
Sighing, she turned from Angel. "You can relax. I'm not going to shoot you in a school. That'd be dumb of me."
