Angel would nod his head at Vadia and his companion as they left. He would turn to thank the Prince but saw she was preoccupied so rather he would bow his in respect and walk over to his Cousin helping her up and calming her down. Giving her Edwardo hoping he would be able to calm her down better.
After making sure Belle was fine he would turn to look at Octavian and the Prince to see if they had any more to say or do.

Eto caught Don comfortably on his back wrapping his arms around her legs. "Let's get away from that bloody beast." He moved out of the Arena heading up to the bar. "God I need a drink..." He commented, looking forward to one of Cho's more choice wines.

Octavian smiled toward his beloved, nodding his agreement. "I'll take care of them." Slowly, painfully he untangled himself from his wife, trailing his fingers along her back for as long as he could. Once his fingers left her back, he walked with brisk steps towards Angel, Edwardo and Belle.
He smiled down toward each of them, warmth, so unlike Eto and Don's hellfire, enveloped all three of them. "Welcome to Nagasaki, officially." He laughed, heartfelt and kind. "Let's get upstairs and get you three something to drink. Two dishes of milk, and one house special?" He asked trying to make the trio feel more welcome.

Angel smiled and nodded
"Thank you, and that sounds like a plan. Lead the way?"
He would say. If Octavian started off Angel would follow after with the kittens in tow.

Octavian led the trio upstairs and into his study. It was far less refined than Amy's. His walls covered in pictures, dozens of them in different frames and styles. Some of his students, some different schematics of particularly interesting architecture, some of he and Amy, one particularly important picture hung behind his. Amy was standing with a baby turtle in her hands smiling like a teenager.
"Have a seat." He offered warmly plopping down in his overstuffed leather wingback chair. "I told you she wasn't as bad as everyone thought." He smiled reaching into his desk, pulling out a little stress ball, the brujah and Gangrel particularly used it more often than the other clans. He'd toss the ball towards Belle and Edwardo, hoping they'd be entertained.
"Well, do you know of the Camarilla's laws?" He asked Angel particularly.

The ball was all it took. Belle and Edwardo were lost in kitten land.

Looking around he would note the pictures on the wall. It was very different in contrast from the first room he was in. This one... Had character. Turning to Octavian he would shrug at his comment about the Prince he didn't feel she was as bad as everyone made her seem, but not as... Benevolent as Octavian seemed to hold her at. He would let out a chuckle as Belle started to play with the ball. He would watch her for a moment before responding to Octavian.
"I learned a lot when I was in training with the Tremere, however while the basics were made clear. Don't break the masquerade, careful who you feed from and where you feed, as well as be sure to make formal introductions to the local Prince. So I know the basics but I don't know if there is more I need to know. Whether it be in general or for the specific city I currently reside."
Angel would motion for the chair next to him seeing if he was allowed to sit. If so he would take a seat, and watch Octavian carefully so as to catch anything that would be helpful or a warning. He was being safe now rather than sorry later. They might have just been welcome but he, too, was wary...

Octavian smiled a bit nodding, "Most people are uncomfortable around Amy, her cold demeanor makes them... Unsure of how she'd respond to them. I know my wife, she's not at all the cold hearted kindred everyone takes her for." He spread his hands out. "The rules are here as they are in any city, I would take care with your cousin around Eto, he's deadly and not compassionate." He sighed and pulled open one of the drawers on his desk pulling out his keys. "If you're in need of a safe place to rest, my apartment at the university is available. I would ask only that you don't mess with the papers on my desk, and do not consume the blood stored there. It's specifically for my taste, and I do so very much dislike unnecessary violence."
He slid the keys across the desk for him to take or leave at his leisure. "Aside from asylum, what brings you to Nagasaki Angel?" He was polite, proper, kind, and a bit curious. "I'm very young you see, at least to kindred society, if you would be willing to talk to me about it, your experiences, I'd really appreciate it." He wanted to know more, not only could the information teach him how to handle things, but it would assist him in completing his secondary goal as well. Becoming Justicar.

Angel accepted the keys thankfully putting them in his pocket. As Octavian continued his questioning Angel paused to think for a moment.
"Truth be told. That's really the only reason. We heard that this place was full of strong warriors and we also heard of the impending war and figured that would give us the perfect way to offer ourselves. To be completely honest if given half the chance I would have preferred to stay home... But that option was taken away from us."
Angel fell silent in his contemplative thought. He mused in his thoughts for a moment before livening up again.
"The past couple of years or so have been... Thrilling and full of excitement, to say the least. Belle and I have been on a few adventures before ending up here."

And back to kitten land she goes.

Octavian continued to listen carefully, tilting his head and looking toward Belle only when she'd spoken. "Well, what can you tell me of your adventures?" He asked politely, leaning back in his chair, he wanted to know more about them. He could understanding wishing he could just stay home, both with Amy and his parent's but he also understood his responsibilities. Which were far more important than his own feelings. The other Kindred in the city were soon to need his help and he was going to be one of the few who would be offering it... Freely.
He smiled toward both Belle and Edwardo. "How did they end up with you?" He asked Angel, turning to look him in the eye again. "What brought the both of you out at so close a time?" He reached into his desk, pulling out a pair of tumblers and a bottle of scotch. He poured a couple of shots into each glass, offering one to Angel. "Drink with me?" He asked with a smile.

Angel chuckled at Belle. Then turned back to Octavian, accepting the drink and sipping it.
"Well there was the time we fell into a nest of Nosferatu, were hunted by a Gangrel that had split from her clan, we even ran into a few Setites leaving Egypt. But we had some good times too like roaming with a Ravnos caravan, and even had our portrait made by a freelance Toreador, we even met a Malkavian that played with Belle in one city he was a quirky fellow who loved to play games and do tricks. Belle had the time of her life with that guy."
Angel chuckled and took another sip of his drink. Octavian's warmth was finally seeking through and relaxing Angel.
"As for how Belle and Edwardo, Belle was the one that saved me from running back to my family after I ran away from the Tremere. She didn't really explain what was happening back then, she just ran into me and said 'Come on Angel we should go on an adventure together!' I actually tried to talk her out of it saying we needed to go home. But she was insistent and so off on our adventures we went. About a year went by of us 'going on adventures' before I started feeling the call to go home. I voiced this to her and saw how upset she got, at the time I assumed she was upset the adventures had come to an end. But it was later that day that we got a nasty surprise from someone I had thought was long dead... My- One of our family members from the clan had tracked us down and he almost killed me, unfortunately Belle had to step in and save me, killing the assassin. After his death I did some research on our family through the other clans we came across and all of the missing info was given to me, feeling in a lot of blanks. When I found out why we were raised the way we were it made me sick to my stomach... Since that day we've been on the run looking for somewhere to stay, but every time we were found and either had to fight, and kill, or do our best to sneak out of the city without alerting them. It's been a long journey but... I'm hoping that here we might be able to finally be safe."
Angel would finish off his drink and stay silent for a moment before snapping his fingers and chuckling.
"Oh and as for Edwardo, I bought him for Belle earlier today, it was a Valentine's day gift for her. So Edwardo's first day in our family had been quite an adventure for him too I'm sure."

Octavian listened more than attentively, almost hanging on his words, careful to memorize every detail. He was polite and quiet nodding as appropriate until he came upon the story of his family. There were very few things in life, and death that he couldn't tolerate, and familial betrayal was one of those things. The glass began to shake in his too human hand, and the moment Angel spoke of the threat on his life it shattered, spilling blood, glass and scotch all over his clean desk. Immediately he was on his feet. "I apologize Angel, I didn't mean to interrupt your story with this." He motioned toward the table as he reached for a workout towel, clearing his mess away into the waste bin beside his desk.
"I am not a violent individual, I firmly believe that no one stands alone in this world, and that in order to survive we all have to work together." He let out a soft sigh as the glass clattered into the waste bin. "Traitors are the worst kinds of creatures. The worst beings are those that have betrayed family." He shook his head sharply. "If it comes to it, I will help you Angel, that kind of atrocity is absolutely unacceptable." His voice was harder than it had been earlier, especially on the subject of betrayal. "I am truly sorry for what you have endured. And I will do everything in my power to ensure that doesn't happen again." He took a slow deep breath, and let it out, relaxing himself, letting the stress melt out of his shoulders.
"Again I apologize for this." He smiled, that warm kind smile. "If there's anything else I can do for you?" He asked, not meaning t o be dismissive, but he needed to get down to the gym and blow off a bit of steam.

Belle was on her back, tossing the ball into the air and watching as her kitten jumped for it, using her flat chest as a take off point. When the sound of glass shattering reached her sensitive ears, they gave a flick. She caught the ball and turned her head to look at the Ventrue, curiosity in her too-blue eyes. She let out a curious meow, moving Edwardo to the floor before turning over to rest on her elbows.
"Mrow?" She hadn't been paying attention to the conversation until that point. Blinking, she thought about the betrayal, the wickedness her family had inflicted upon them both. It made her ears flatten against her head in disdain.
"They can't hurt us," the kitten girl commented softly, sounding surprisingly somber. "Not anymore. I won't let them." It wasn't as if she hadn't already committed unforgivable sins against her flesh and blood in order for the two to maintain their freedom. Resting her chin on her folded hands, she looked painfully young and childlike.

Angel was alarmed when the glass shattered but after Octavian apologized Angel understood. Octavian was right betrayal, especially by family is horrible. If only things had been different. He turned to Belle and her comment and nodded with her statement.
"I know hun. We'll protect each other just like we always have."
Turning back to Octavian he would shake his head and stand up.
"I appreciate the offer but you've done too much already. For now we'll just call it a night and head back to our hotel we'll move over to your apartment tomorrow night if that's alright with you?"
