Finn allowed him to ramble on without interruption, but after he audibly snapped his teeth closed, the Malkavian still did not speak. His eyes were gleaming with intrigue and interest, staring at the man. His head slowly tilted to the right until the vertebrae in his neck gave a painfully loud "pop." He didn't seem to notice, his attention never wavering from the Tremere's face.
"I cannot read the book," he said simply, his smile growing once more to uncomfortable proportions. "Sargon wrote it long before even I was born and Embraced. He wanted to make sure those of his blood would be able to grow to the power he hoped to attain. If he failed, he wanted to make sure somebody could succeed. It is a guide to help you achieve the God Status he wanted so desperately."
It was obvious why some people went to the madman. When he was speaking clearly, avoiding the riddles and silly little games, he was a wonderful storyteller. There was a strange, almost romantic lilt to his voice, an archaic accent long abandoned. When he spoke, really spoke, people instinctively wanted to listen. They wanted to hear more, to know more, to do whatever it took to keep him talking.

Angel twitched when he heard the pop and he himself had resist the urge to pop his kneck. It was contagious. As Finn spoke though Angel was entranced, soaking up every word.
"So... That means I'm from his bloodline?"
Angel asked curiously. That would explain a few things.

He gave a single nod. "The man was a fortune teller. He could see the future, so long as it had to do with him and his." Or anything that he really put his mind to, but Sargon's secrets were still just that: his secrets. Finn had known the man back in a time when sharing secrets was punishable by death, and that was sometimes difficult to forget.
"The Mau Clan must be descendants of Sargon. What Clan did you say you were all bound to?"

"The Lasambra."
Angel would say, answering his question. So the guy could see into the future, and that means Angel was one of his line...

Finn snickered openly, the sound ugly as it ripped from his lips. His eyes were gleaming and glittering, his head tilting to the opposite side with yet another audible pop. He didn't bother to laugh, however.
"Interesting. How interesting."

Angel raised a brow.
"Interesting? How so, if I may ask?"
Angel asked curiously. What secrets were inside his head.

"We have a library here in town for the Tremere. I'm sure they have some books somewhere, and you can access the story of Sargon. Go figure out what his family line became."
Silly little magic user.

Angel nodded. That was reasonable.
"Alright I will do so. But, one last question..."
He would ask waiting to see of there was any objections. If there wasn't he would continue.
"How do I find the rest of the fragments?"

"You seem to think that I am just a wealth of free knowledge, Angel Mau. How... insulting."
Finn raised one hand, looking his nails through the white fabric of his glove, as if admiring something. "I truly... do not like to be insulted, Angel." He would curl his fingers into the palm of his hand, and the woman's body would convulse, her eyes popping open as if she had been slapped. She let out a squeal of agony, one that turned quickly into a scream, and tried to curl into a ball to get away from the invisible onslaught.

Angel gulped.
"I-I did not mean any insult. Is there anything I can offer you in exchange for the information I seek?"
He asked politely.

Ah, there we go. Intimidating the younger generation was simple for a beast like Finn. He let the woman scream for another moment or two before her body collapsed back into the ground, using as much energy as it could muster to curl itself into a harmless little ball, away from the master that held some sort of invisible chains.
"If it's information you seek, come and see me. If it's pairs of letters you need, I have consecutively three.
Who am I?"

Angel was confused for a moment unsure of what just happened. Then he realized it was a riddle...
Going over the riddle in his mind for a moment he would snap his fingers.
"Bookkeeper?!"
Angel asked excitement on his face. Hoping he was right.

Finn didn't bother to let him know whether he was right or wrong. He would have to go and see for himself. Looking a bit too pleased, Finn stood up from his uncomfortable throne. His head tilted to one side as if he heard something that required his attention.
Then, without another word, he floated out the large, metal door, and up the stairs.

Angel just blinked but at least now he had an idea of where to go.
Standing up he would follow Finn out. Then he would leave that creepy place as quick as possible.
To the library!
