Octavian had spent the ride contemplating their newest guest. What was it with Nagasaki attracting the absolute craziest of circumstances and people? He shrugged as he tore around another corner. Nagasaki had become so familiar to him, not only it's streets, but it's people, both kindred and kine. What was going to happen to his precious city? Were the eastern monsters going to tear through them all and each of them end up with their heads on a pike? Were they going to be victorious in holding off the veritable tidal wave of enemies and hold their city? What was going to happen and how did the newest arrival play into all of it? Hopefully Amy and Nuko would know, would have a better idea of what would actually be going on.
While the ride and the peace of a roaring engine brought him a level of comfort that he really couldn't get elsewhere, it had to end. Dropping the car into first, the neonate parked just inside the parking lot, furthest from the actual monument. He could walk and it was a beautiful night to do so. With a smile he turned toward the drive waiting for his new friend to arrive and pull up,. It never ceased to amaze him the number of their friends that just seemed to show up out of the blue, and all of them were immortal, or at least as immortal as immortal got. It only made sense that most of both Amy's and Nuko's friends had outlived him by more than times his age.
~Huh, I never really thought of that...~ The neonate's eyes seemed to glaze over as he waited. ~I'm literally one of the youngest vampires in the city, I'm surrounded by people who have had so much more experience knowledge than he, yet somehow they flocked to him, followed him, not only in battle, but politically.~ Whether that was simply because of Amy or some other reason he'd have to think about that another time. One of Amy's friends and to his surprise someone he'd known before he became a kindred had come to visit. Regardless of how strange she seemed, he was happy some of Amy's friends at last showing up. To top it all off, the fact that she wasn't the frost queen as she'd been didn't deter them. Octavian remained there, glassy eyes waiting for their newest... His newest friend to arrive.

The twists and turns almost tripped her a few times as she drove, but her focus remained complete. She noticed very little outside of the road and the roar of her vehicle. Her eyes remained perfectly slate in their color, her Auspex allowing her perfect vision despite the total lack of street lamps. By the time she pulled in beside the Nova, a little less than 90 seconds behind him, she seemed to have relaxed completely. It always helped to take your aggression out on the road.
Cady slid gracefully out of her car, standing and leaning back against the mean looking monster, still warm to the touch. She was actually smiling, having brightened up after the almost dangerous situation back at the manor home. She ran her fingers along the black matte racing stripes along her hood. She let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding.
"Nice ride," she commented with a nod of her head, breathing evenly. He was still a threat, mostly because he was still male, but she seemed at least a little more comfortable around him. "Most people can't beat me, and you got me by over a minute. Good job."

Octavian broke out of his trance only when Miss Sackler's driver's door closed. Brown eyes turning up to focus on the girl who'd been so kind to his best friend only a few years before. "Sorry." he apologized once he'd realized she'd been speaking. "Yeah, my father and I made it, 440 big block." Octavian grinned a bit sheepishly as he stood up straight. It was going to be interesting introducing Miss Sackler to both Amy and Nuko at the same time. "You ready? Like really ready?" He asked, shooting her a soft warm grin before turning towards the path leading to Nuko's memorial. "Amy and Nuko should be alright about now, hopefully nothing too crazy you to deal with."
The young neonate led her down the path towards the Memorial stopping just before the clearing, motioning with his hand for her to lead the way, the memorial stone was very clear and displayed there in the open with all the benches and the little Gazeebo so well taken care of nearby. The place was a testament to Nuko and her Legacy, one of whom was missing, the other of which was off to become a Golconda. Strange how the world seemed to take things.

A brow cocked over one still-grey eye as he apologized, realizing that she had broken him from some sort of reverie. What had he been thinking about? It wouldn't be difficult to prod into his mind, but that would be rude, and he had already commented on her lack of manners once before. She let his thoughts remain private and turned her attention to her own car, letting him say something that she wouldn't understand even if she tried. Still, it was the most enthusiastic she had seen him since her arrival at the Manor home, so she let him have his moment.
"I don't know what I'm preparing for," Cady muttered under her breath, giving a shrug of one shoulder. The news of her "sister" and her passing had reached her, even in the States, so the thought of Inuko Locke still existing, even as a Wraith, didn't cross her mind. The way he phrased his words, however, made her wonder. Had something happened to Amy since their separation, all that long while ago?
Of course, Amy was a completely different person. She expected her to be. She was married, now, and the Prince of Nagasaki. She had waged wars, fought for a safe place in Japan, and painted her home for the comfort of guests. Acadia expected her to be different, but she didn't grasp just how much she HAD changed. After all, Ventrue always stayed the same, didn't they? She had watched far too much time pass and the silver haired woman still wore ruffles and corsets, like some Victorian goddess.
Sighing, she gave a shake of her head, deciding to just let whatever was happening happen. She followed after Octavian, careful not to trip over anything on the path. Her fingers brushed along the bark of the tree trunk, trying to keep her balance, as grey faded back to the beautiful amber. She was always respectful of her friend's privacy and didn't want to accidentally invade her thoughts, especially not here. Not at Nuko's memorial.

Amy tossed her head back in light laughter, a tinkling sound coming from the Ventrue. It was a rare occurrence when she allowed herself the freedom of amusement and humor, but sitting in the privacy of Inuko's Memorial, discussing the strangeness that was Etonis Vadia and Findero Lauden, there was no reason for her to hide her emotions. The only person who knew her better than the rainbow haired Wraith sitting at her side was her husband, safely at home. Her laughter, however, cut off abruptly when she saw the way black began to creep into the Gangrel's eyes. She knew what that meant.
"What's wrong?" she asked in a hushed tone, careful to keep her voice low. However, before she could finish her question, the Wraith was gone, her supernatural speed carrying her over to the edge of her territory, right where the path opened from the trees into the field. All five feet of the tiny threat would appear, suddenly, mere inches from Octavian, lips pulled back to expose vampiric fangs, elongated offensively. "We have company," Killy whispered to Amy, having sat with the girls. He, too, stood from their place on the ground, moving towards his wife.
"Octavian," Inuko greeted, not relaxing her posture. She was obviously preparing for a fight, nearly obsidian eyes raising to pass over his shoulder as she searched for the intruder she could sense. "Who did you bring with you?" The hostility was surprising, even to Killy, who came to wrap a comforting arm around his wife's waist. She normally welcomed visitors and guests, especially if they were accompanied by somebody she trusted. He whispered her name in her ear, but she jerked her head, growling low in her throat.
She gave a fierce shake of her head, short, layered rainbow hair flicking around her face. There was almost no gold in her gaze when she finally turned her attention back to her companion, claws extending with an audible noise. "No!" she hissed. "Who did you bring here? Why do I smell Adelphenia on your hands?"

Octavian hadn't breached the line between forest and grove when one of his dearest friends appeared before him. Nuko in all her fiery wrath had never held such fiery vehement hatred. His warm brown eyes clashed with her almost blacks in a display that had never happened nor needed to happen anytime in their relationship. He didn't stutter or back down from her, he hadn't done anything wrong or offensive, and Octavian would never be cowed. Both his hands came up from his sides, palms out, obviously empty, unarmed. Even the swords he kept on his hips were left in their display case in the manor. He'd come to bring a friend and this was far from the greeting he'd expected. "I come with someone whom I was informed was a friend of you and Amy." He commented as he took a step to one side of Nuko. "Adelphenia is dead, by your hands. I have no idea why I smell like her, all I did was help Miss Sackler, whom I am under the impression is your friend." He stated, looking away from the fiery little gangrel wraith toward his wife.
The hardness that had been there unconsciously simply melted away at the sight of his love. Nuko probably had her reasons for what she'd done, but in the instant she appeared as if he'd brought some threat or some demon into her domain, he didn't react with fear, or trepidation, he acted as if she were an bully, something he knew his friend would never be. With a smile he turned back toward Nuko and waved his arm toward Acadia. "Nuko, I bring your friend Miss Sackler, straight from the manor." He smiled, and it was the same warm smile that had always graced his features. There wasn't even the slightest hint of the response he'd felt only moments before seeing his wife. He was all Octavian, all Ventrue, and all in love.

His sudden stop surprised her, and she almost ran into him. She caught herself, hands immediately slipping behind her back in hopes of avoiding any accidental contact. Both brows rose to her hairline and she was just about to ask Octavian why he had stopped when a familiar voice reached her ears. Shock froze her in place. Cady had mourned her sister in her own way so long ago. She had come to accept, years before that, that she might never see the psychotic little Gangrel again. Their friendship had been uncertain at best, but they were sisters, after all.
Her head tilted to one side and her eyes glassed over, returning to the color they were before. Octavian addressed her, she heard her voice. There was no denying that she was there, but the only aura that she saw was Amy's, a frosty layer of ice in the middle of an otherwise empty field. "What is... going on here?" she whispered, mostly to herself. She didn't expect any sort of answer.
"N-Nuko? Inuko Locke?" There was no way that she could ever mix that voice up. She knew it as well as she knew her own. She had spent years with her and her husband both, fighting with them and learning with them both. "Is that you? Is that REALLY you??"

Nuko immediately recognized the motion, the look in his eye, and it only deepened the rage she felt. There was a single ring of gold that circled her iris, and her hiss was low, dangerous. It was a warning sound, like the distress chitter from a cat. She was preparing herself to strike, to take down whatever it was that stood between her and her victim of choice. The more black that inked across her eyes, the closer the Beast was to the surface, preparing to attack and destroy.
Yet, she managed to keep herself in check. Her head jerked to one side but her hiss was cut off. It was Octavian in front of her... If she could help it, she would not harm him. He was always nothing but kind. He was sweet, calm, and understanding, and that showed as he relaxed. Amy was his safety, and with her still sitting in the grassy field just behind her, it was easy for him to be... okay again.
Her head jerked as he shifted for her to see, and the flowing red hair caught her eyes first. The change was sudden and immediate. She launched herself from the ground, passing through Octavian's shoulder incoporeal, but solidifying just behind him. Her eyes were gold again, black completely chased away, and her arms encircled Cady's neck. She squealed in excitement. "CADY! ACADY! AHHHHHCADY!!!" She swung like a child from her neck, weighing nearly nothing, eyes wide as she peered up at her as if she hadn't just contemplated killing her. "No wonder!"
Amy gave an amused shake of her head as she looked at Killy and Octavian both. She raised one gloved hand, motioning to the both of them to join her and give the girls space. They would need a moment. She knew of the close connection between them and had her personal doubts that Acadia had any idea of her sister's... existence. "Hello, my love."

Octavian ran one pale hand through his hair after Nuko had passed. All the threatening, posturing and preparedness to kill had fled his dear friend and in it's place left the Nuko he knew and cherished. A small soft smile touched his lips as he watched her leap onto Acadia. Warmth, summer sunshine had returned to his features as he turned towards Amy. Shooting Killy a graceful nod he made his way away from the the strange pair of women towards the only woman in the world who would ever make sense to him. Towards his wife.
Slowly he made his way towards her, his steps careful in the green grass of Nuko's memorial. Each step seemed to take more of the stiffness from his posture, from his form. Every step brought him closer to the kindhearted man that through a horrible series of events, had been turned into a vampire. The smile that lit his lips only grew as he neared her, sitting down next to her the neonate plopped his head down onto her shoulder. An act that he reserved only for those moments and times when he could be free of formalities and rules. There were only two places that he could just be him in Nagasaki. Their bedroom and the Locke memorial."Evening beautiful." He murmured into her skin. The frigid cold of her touch bringing him more warmth and comfort than a blazing fire.
"Sorry for interrupting, she showed up at the manor asking about you, and I figured it'd be best if I brought her here... I recognize her... She's the lawyer that helped Jude out of those mocked up assault charges. I thought it would be safe." He sighed into her shoulder again, wrapping his arms around her and squeezing her form tight up against his, breathing in her scent, and allowing himself to just wrap up in the comfort that was Amy O'Connor.

Nuko was wrapped around a confused Acadia, the two busy in their moment as her husband walked across the field and joined her, Killy only a few steps behind him. Her fingers rose to delicately brush through his brunette hair, from root to tip. She offered him a soft, quiet hum under her breath as he apologized, a slow smile growing across her features. Amy loved being around him, touching him. It had been far too long since she had welcomed such affection. She brushed her blue lips along his exposed temple before letting his hair fall back into place.
"Apologize not, my love," she whispered, trying not to be heard over the Gangrel's barrage of adoration. The screams of the girl's name left no question of exactly who it was that had entered, uninvited. "It is safe, now that Inuko recognizes her." She offered a nod towards the pair, trying to bring attention to the way the tiny one swung. "It just took her a moment."
Amy was thankful for Octavian's presence. If Acadia had come to visit by herself, she probably would have been skewered by the lethal Feral Claws Inuko was oh so proud of. Young enough to have retained the scent of her Sire, there was no way she would have had time to explain herself before the Gangrel had reacted. Lightly, she cradled his head against her shoulder, allowing him to squeeze her without a word. She chuckled softly, giving a shake of her head. "Do not worry. The two enjoy each other's company."
