Eto slammed into the prone form of Nichiya, nothing but fury. Razor sharp fangs bit into his exposed arm, tearing angrily at flesh. But it wasn't as it should be, his blood was not blood, but caustic acid, and the vampire, the real vampire had enough. 'Welcome back little human.' He called, slipping into the back of their shared mind. With his fangs sliding out of the Eastern Monster, Eto's canines shifting to those of a human, and his ruby eyes bleeding back to their vibrant green. The truly human form of him released Nichiya with an agonized scream. Eto fell, it didn't take long, his green eyes catching Nichiya's for only a moment before he dropped against him. Eto lay prone, exhausted and bled almost completely dry atop Nichiya.
Every bit of his aura had returned to human state, his hair had shifted from the almost black red, to a softer, auburn red, and he lay there motionless, save for the slow, steady beating of his all too human heart. His scimitars remained grasped in his hands, as if locked to his very person. Each blade having reverted to their soft gentle glow. Eto laid atop Nichiya, human and totally at his Mercy. What would the strange eastern Monster do?

The quick shift in the man atop him was confusing. Having never experienced anything even remotely similar from the Western Beasts, he had to wonder - and not for the first time - what this man was. For the briefest of moments, he was almost able to forget that he had been Kindred only moments before as the humanity that existed within him burned away at the edges of Nichiya's soul, calling to him as all humans did. The urge to protect him washed over the Asian for some time, but the sight of his weapons brought back the pain that had assaulted him.
He took a deep breath, reaching his hands out for the scimitars. Curiosity made it almost impossible to deny himself. Yet, just before he touched either of the blades, a voice rang out through the darkness. "NO!" it screeched, and his opponent erupted in flame. Nichiya screamed and shoved himself as far away from the burning form as he could manage, back-pedaling faster than he ever had before. He looked around, trying to figure SOMETHING, ANYTHING out. There was only a whisper across the air.
"...Mine..."
