Angel was bored. Belle and the Kitten were out having a 'kitty' day, or so he was told, and was asked to leave. So where to now...
As he pondered what to do he remembered something Octavian had mentioned. Something along the lines of seeing a memorial? Angel shrugged, why not. It wouldn't hurt befriending the Prince's husband after all. So he would call on Octavian.
He would arrive at the manor and ask the guards to let Octavian know that he was there to 'Take him up on his offer'.

Octavian wasn't particularly busy, and the call from Alec telling him that Angel had arrived brought a kind smile to the young man neonate's face. Grabbing his keys from the little hook on his desk, he made his way downstairs, kissing his loving wife on the cheek before heading out to meet Angel.
He was still smiling as he walked out and into the courtyard. "Evenin' Angel." He called out to the Tremere. "You ready to hear my baby roar?" He asked.
He'd signal Angel to follow him as he made his way over to the newest looking building on the grounds. His Garage. Pushing one of the buttons on his key fob, the door would open and Angel would see Octavian's baby in all it's glory.
Sitting parked in the center of the three car garage was a his blue Nova, twin white racing stripes running from nose to tail of the vehicle. The car itself was all sharp lines, and harsh curves. It was a beast, and that beast Octavian had long ago tamed. "This is my car, you wont find another one like it in all of Japan." He grinned obviously proud of his car. The garage itself was filled with the finest tool boxes, and likely the finest tools. Everything was in it's proper place, tucked away in tool boxes or properly coiled around different spools and coils.

Angel greeted Octavian with his own smile.
"Evening."
Then he would follow Octavian to the garage. Where he would see a beast of a car sitting there. It took all that Angel could muster to not let his jaw drop. He would whistle his appreciation.
"Very nice. I have definitely not seen anything like this before..."
Truth be told he never thought he would either. His family had money but they weren't very materialistic. So he would just stand there in awe waiting for how he was suppose to proceed.

Octavian grinned, and it wasn't a look of malice, but there was definitely mischief in his eyes. "Check this out." Another button on his key fob and the car unlocked, it's headlights flashing, letting both of the kindred know that she was open.
The young neonate would climb into the drivers seat of his car, looking out of the windshield at Angel. One foot on the clutch, one foot on the gas, he turned the key in the ignition, pressing down on the clutch then the gas.
The Nova roared, loud, throaty and full of aggression. Everyone in the manor would know and hear it's angry growl. Even the sleeping birds seemed to flee their late night perches in the trees to escape the monster they'd be sure was coming for them. All Octavian could do from inside the car was grin.

Amy had let Octavian go with a little frown hidden by a kiss. Alec had offered his apologies but she dismissed them, letting her husband bound outside. They planned to visit the Memorial of her best friend, somewhere she struggled to go. Memories trapped her mind and often, she had no words to offer the spirit of the Fallen Gangrel and her husband. She steadied herself before turning back to the ones she kept court with. A few of the Primogen, including Finn and Mizuki, sat with her, enjoying a quiet tea session.
She had begun to speak again once her husband left their home, but the roar of the car startled her. She visibly jumped, letting out a high pitched squeal. Mizuki lurched forward to grab at her as if he thought she might fall, concern across his features. His sensitive ears had picked up every sound, and while the noise hurt, he hadn't been surprised by it.
Finn's hiccuping, maniacal laughter could be heard outside as he collapsed against the floor, clutching his sides.

Angels knees would quiver, not in fear, but in adoration. It sounded beautiful. He wanted one so bad. Angel would eagerly hop into the passenger seat and he would a loud familiar sounding laugh. He wasn't sure if it was good or not but right now he didn't care. He was in a cool car, a beast his give a fuck was literally out the window.
"Let's drive!"
He would say eagerly to Octavian.

Octavian grinned toward Angel, he'd already made sure that the gate was open to the drive and he dumped the clutch, dropping the car into first gear and tore out of the garage. The sound of screaming tires on concrete, and a trail of white smoke behind them. "Lets!" He yelled over the screeching of tires.
The car barreled around the corner, whipping the tail end out wide, then Octavian expertly straightened out and the acceleration would take hold, pushing them both back into the black leather bucket seats. Cars flew by as he swerved in and out of traffic, the police in the area knew the car on sight and ignored it. It wasn't like they could catch the thing.
Octavian drove the the car like a surgeon through traffic and out onto the less frequented roads, constantly accelerating. He loved his car, loved the speed and pure freedom it granted him. He flew down the roads headed for the Memorial. Old hard rock blasting through the speakers in the back.
"How do you like her?" He asked angel with a purely happy grin on his face.

Angel was ecstatic. This was the most fun he had had... Ever. With a huge grin on his face he looked to Octavian.
"Where can I get one?"
He would say jokingly while laughing.
"This is awesome!"
This was probably the most calm and relaxed Angel had been since he lost his music. This, was the time of his unlife.

Octavian whipped the car around a few more turns, grinning with Angel as he pulled up to the parking lot he usually used to get to the Memorial and the Gangrel territory in general.
"My father and I made this car." He responded, pride and happiness more than obvious in his voice. "If you're looking to learn to build a car, I can help you out with that no problem. I prefer you don't build a Nova, it's my father and I's car. But there are a lot more cars we can put together. Amy helped me put together the garage, everything we'd need is there."
Octavian would love the opportunity to teach Angel how to build maintain and drive a real car. Not one of the cars the locals drove. He wasn't a prejudice guy, but the Japanese liked quiet economic cars. Octavian loved the sound and power of American muscle.
"We're here by the way." His smile changed a bit. From Absolutely ecstatic happy, to a more somber respectful warmth. "Nuko's always helped me out when I wasn't feeling particularly right. Maybe she can help you too?" He asked, stepping out of his car and making his way toward the Memorial itself.

The memorial was a large headstone for both Killian and Inuko Locke, engraved with their words of love for each other as well as an image of the two dancing. The forest around them was silent, all fauna having long since fled. The wind blew between the trees and tickled the grass, welcoming both males into the place where the Veil was thin.
Happiness, affection, and love dominated the clearing. It was difficult to have any sort of negativity when entering the memorial. If one listened closely, they could hear the sounds of laughter and music, carried from the Shadowland.

Angel was excited a huge grin on his face throughout the ride. Once the pulled into the parking lot his heart would be racing... If it could still beat.
When Octavian stated his offer Angel nodded.
"That would be cool, I'm totally down for that."
He would say with a laugh. Then as he notices the expression on Octavian's face he too would fall somber. This was the resting place of a friend of his. Angel only wish that the friends he had made in his journey were buried so nicely...
As they sit there in momentary silence Angel would hear laughter. Sweet cheerful laughter.
"What's that sound?"
Angel would say getting out of the car. He was going to investigate!

Octavian looked around a bit, hearing a very familiar tune, one not only played by Killy, but one played by Aislin. "That music is what the Locke's play." He commented as he made his way over to the memorial, sitting down on one of the many benches that covered the clearing. It was always peaceful there, at least for the young Neonate, it had only ever tasted three kindred's blood, and were he able to, it would never taste blood again.
"This is Nuko Locke's and her Husband Killy's memorial. I never got the pleasure of meeting Killy, but Nuko was a firecracker. She was small and fierce, and brutally loyal." He leaned back basking in the moonlight, remembering the fun times he'd had with the Gangrel Scourge. "WE all came to help her, to rescue her from the Setite, to keep her safe. We failed." He sighed softly. "When Nuko died, it shattered something in everyone in the city, even those that disliked her foul mouth." He grinned remembering some of the shouting contests she'd heard Nuko get into when she was really fired up.
"She was a good woman, and a brilliant mother. Rumor, whom I'm not sure you've met yet, is the kindest of children, whom I owe the biggest icecream debt in the world too." Octavian lounged back a bit, enjoying the peace and the music.

The laughter became far more pointed as Octavian's words echoed through the clearing. The music continued, but a soft voice could be heard on the wind. "He's right, babe," a man said, somewhere, his voice a smooth tenor tinged with an old, old Irish accent. Amusement was obvious, even if they couldn't see the redheaded Gangrel, leaning against the headstone, the violin still resting against his shoulder.
Octavian would feel the familiar sensation of tiny arms wrapping around his sides, just beneath his armpits. It was almost comforting, friendly, until claws buried themselves into his chest. They didn't draw blood of any kind, nor would they actually break skin, but the pain was undeniable.
A tiny little girl would seem to waver into existence behind the Neonate, eyes the same shining gold they had been in life. Whiskers protruded from her cheeks and her smile was lined with sharp fangs, but there was a fondness across her features as she leaned into his back. Rainbow hair tumbled down just passed her shoulders.
"Wanna try that again, Golden Boy?" She sneered before tossing her head back in laughter.

Angel stared as the girl seemed to fade in and out of existence. Focusing on his sight he would try to keep her from fading. Then he would tilt his head.
"Uhm... What?"

Octavian grinned when he'd heard Killy's familiar voice, which meant Nuko was still around somewhere. That fact was made obvious with the comfortable hug that turned painful. "Sure whiskers, right leg or left leg?" He would ask, a Finn-like Cheshire grin on his face despite the pain in his ribs.
"Angel, this I Nuko Locke, and the good fellow over there playing the lovely music is Killy Locke. Little whiskers, Killy, this is Angel of Clan Mau." He motioned towards all the individuals involved, just as a proper Ventrue should.
